Autopsy is a free and open source Windows-based digital forensics platform that has been built to provide an intuitive workflow for users in the Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Incident Response communities.

Autopsy 3.1 adds a number of major features, including:

• Better hash database management capabilities

In particular, the Android mobile device support marks the additions of features that have traditionally been only found in commercial tools.
